So earlier this month it was !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . Today it was... whatever the heck this thing is. Size 11.5 for reference. Yay Texas. I think the creepy crawlers are getting the memo that Halloween is right around the corner.

Alive, but I can’t really have a lizard. I’d love it my nephew would love it (is crazy about dinosaurs so lizards are the next best thing), but it would not be welcomed in my wife’s house.

That was my first thought, though most are striped and smaller than this. Maybe some sort of whiptail?

Weird question but what kind of shoes are those? I like them

The North Face Single Track Hayasa 2. Out of production, but you might be able to find some on clearance. I love them and will keep wearing these ones around the house until I wear holes in them. Outside of work, I’ve worn The North Face shoes exclusively (except for a pair of Adidas Samba’s) for about 5 years now. My newest ones are the Ultra Cardiac, which are essentially an updated version of these.

Hmm... not sure how to mail a living lizard lol... yeah my 3 year old son is obsessed with dinosaurs and thought it was the coolest thing. My 7 year old daughter screamed and ran away.

Hey lil guy! (Or gal)
I found a tarantula outside my apartment a couple of weeks ago. One of my neighbors squished it. :( Don’t they know tarantulas eat the bugs that are really gross?
I’ve also got carpenter bees. It’s fun to watch them fly drunkenly around.

Yeah my wife and I go back and forth on the tarantulas. I prefer to let them be, but they creep her out so if we start seeing a lot of them they eventually get evicted. We had a nest a few years back and they were all over the yard. I also tend to let scorpions be outside of the house because they are killing the nuisance bugs, but once they come inside they are dead.

you can mail a live lizard, but your recipient is likely to receive a dead one.

I’m not an expert, but I think you have a Texas Alligator Lizard by your foot. http://www.inaturalist.org/taxa/32048-Gerrhonotus-infernalis
This is the time of year when all the critters start looking for relatively warm places to sleep for the winter. Prepare for the invasion!

Pretty sure you’re right. I googled Texas Alligator Lizard last night and the first picture result or two didn’t look like it, but based on your link and a few others that sure looks like it.
